In all three sessions held followed by a concluding session. The workshop included presentation and practical sessions. During the presentation session, experts had the opportunity to present their approach to telemedcine system, as well as discussion forums to review issues related to the field os Telemedicine. The practical session included the hands on experience of our software e-Sanjeevani, which is an integrated web based telemedicine Package.

The response was gratifying. 8 telemedicine field experts shared their views on various aspects of technologyin focus, 38 Doctors and IT Programmers from various states participated with great zeal, 6 Students doing R & D in medical electronics & informatics and 14 army personnals also felt the impact of the workshop. Besides it, 36 Telemedicine enthusiasts from C-DAC Mohali were among the active participants. Other C-DAC staff members were also present in appreciable strength.

The workshop gave opportunity to all experts to discuss and share their work and experience. These discussions addressed a number of issues with a lively debate among the workshop participants also.

Group discussions were held with the expertsaround the areas of telemedicine , its vision, connectivity standards and guidelines of telemedicine network, security of data, future technologies and ultimately its limitations.
