National Conference on Telemedicine
(Awareness of health professionals and public and policy makers)

In order to develop awareness and gather information on telemedicine activities undergoing in the country and imparting education in the field a National Conference was organized at SGPGIMS, Lucknow on 23-27April 2001.

Five international faculty delivered state of the art lectures. Around 150 delegates participated and 25 delegates presented papers. Telemedicine Society of India was launched during this conference.
