Expression of Interest for Evaluation of existing Telemedicine / eHealth initiatives

The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare invites Institutions with at least ten years experience of qualitative and quantitative research in the Health or Information Technology sector to participate in evaluation of the Tele medicine / eHealth initiatives undertaken by various agencies. The initiatives which are proposed to be evaluated include those set up by state governments either on its own or in partnership with the ISRO, DIT or private institutions. The parameters which are proposed to be evaluated include :

  1. The relevance of the initiative in context of Public Health in India.

  2. Coverage of the initiative, Usage by clients, Sustainability (managerial, financial and technological), Scalability, Costing, Quality of output.

  3. Replicability through GoI intervention.

  4. Any other relevant parameter.

The evaluation is expected to be completed within six months of award with interim reports being filed after three months.

A two-page note on the Institution, giving details of registration, key researchers, relevant experience and abstract of works undertaken so far, with emphasis on the last five years.
(b)
Copy of one recent Research Study/report conducted by the Institution on the health or Information technology sector.
(c)
States/UTs where the Institution would like to take up the study.
(d)
Proposed costing of the study and the timeline.
